AWASI RELAIS & CHÂTEAUX
A collection of small luxury lodges located in some of the most exceptional destinations in South America: Atacama, Patagonia, Iguazú, Mendoza and Ponta dos Ganchos.

AWASI ARTIST IMMERSION
We collaborate with artists to help reinforce, through their creative practice, the value of the native ecosystems that Awasi works so diligently to preserve.
The natural landscapes, native flavours and encounter of the cultural heritage surrounding Awasi properties serve as both a source of inspiration and stimulation for artists’ creative development.

ANDRÉS PAREDES
“Trama y Desenlace”
Argentine visual artist Andrés Paredes installed a biodegradable sculpture in the Atlantic Rainforest surrounding Awasi Iguazú lodges. A hidden camera captured the sculpture’s transformation over time, offering a poetic exploration of art and nature’s cycles.

JOSEFINA STAGNARO
“Proyecto Maracaná”
This project blended the artistry of Argentine paper artist and biologist Josefina Stagnaro with the conservation efforts of Aves Argentinas. It raised awareness about the reintroduction of the endangered bird species maracaná afeitado, showcasing the power of art as a vehicle for change.

NURIA DU CHÊNE DE VÈRE
“Scent of a Journey”
The Italo-Spanish perfumer created two exclusive scents inspired by the essence of Awasi Iguazú and Awasi Atacama, offering guests a sensory journey through these remarkable locations.

“For me, the Awasi experience was a magical tour de force. Spending a week as an artist in residence at this very special place in Argentina, near the borders of Brazil and Paraguay, opened my eyes, ears, and spirit to a fantastical adventure.
The hospitality and absolute charm of Awasi Iguazú and its hosts will forever be etched into my life. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the Awasi Artist Immersion.” – Rainer Gross
